The Oppo F3 selfie expert does justice to it’s title. In this case, this most awaited phone from Oppo is a true selfie expert which has two cameras in the front. One for individual selfies (16MP) and one for group selfies (8MP). The phone had gone on pre-order on 4th may at a price of Rs 19,990 and was scheduled to release on 8th may. Within seconds of it’s release, the phone was sold out and the next batch is on pre-order right now. Pre-orders for the phone are being taken again and the next release is on 13th may on Flipkart. Build and looks
The phone feels sleek and smooth and fares very well on looks. Oppo F3 has a metal uni-body design and a fingerprint scanner embedded into the home button. Oppo F3 sports a 5.5-inch screen, with an height of 15.3 cm and weight 153g. There’s a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a speaker grille at the bottom. The smooth texture of its lustrous metal back panel repels dust and is comfortable to hold.
Camera
F3’s USP is the dual front Camera, a 16-megapixel selfie camera for individual selfies and a 8MP wide-angle lens for the perfect group selfies. The OPPO F3 is also equipped with a 13 MP rear camera that has a 1/3-inch sensor. This maximises light sensitivity and you’d be able to take wonderful night time pictures with great detail. There are a lot of camera modes that you can try out such as time lapse, panorama and beauty. You can in fact, even create GIF animations using the front camera!
Battery
Equally important is the battery life which is markedly robust. Even with a moderate 3200mAh, we experienced plenty of juice left to do some heavy lifting from morning till night with energy to spare. We watched videos videos occasionally, made lot of phone calls, listened to music and surfed the net. With such regular use we still had 1/4th battery charge left at the end of the day. The phone takes about 2 and 1/2 hours to go from no battery to a full charge.
Under the hood
Oppo F3 has an octa-core Mediatek MT6750T processor along with Mali T86 MP2 GPU, 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. With a clock speed of 1.5 GHz, the processor gives a snappy performance. Also, there are two NANO SIM slots and a separate slot for microSD card with storage handling capacity upto 128GB. Yes, 4G LTE is supported, meaning you can use your Jio sim without any hassles in the selfie expert.
Performance
Oppo F3 backed by Color OS 3.0 performs smoothly without any hitches. There are no lags or app crashes even with multiple apps open. Heating issues are also non-existent something which is usually a problem in metal body phones. Switching between apps is fast and easy. The 5.5-inch Full HD screen is vibrant and is easy to view even in bright outdoors. The fingerprint scanner works like a charm and was quick to unlock the phone on most occasions. The selfie expert can also handle heavy duty graphics games such as Asphalt 8 with ease. That being said, the sound department lags as the phone lacks dual stereo speakers and is one of the few negatives we could find about the phone.

OPPO is a brand that is now used and respected by more than 10 million people around the world.
